Coming Home to £10.7 Million

Martyn and Sandra White were getting ready to jet set to Italy on a week-long
Easter holiday when they discovered they'd won the UK National Lottery! The
couple banked a massive £10,784,075 Lotto Double Rollover jackpot on
8 April, but were only able to accept the cheque some two weeks later!
Martyn was busy checking his flights, when he noticed an email saying that
he'd won. He was almost certain it was just another £10 prize, until
he saw the £10.7 Million prize amount. His first instinct was to
confirm that the win was genuine by comparing the numbers with other news
sites. Gradually, the win began to sink in, but they had to catch their
flight to Italy!
Martyn wants to retire early from his sales manager position at a vehicle
electronics company and Sandra hopes to fulfil her dreams of becoming an
interior designer once they find their new home.

Graham and Fiona Forrest were one of five lucky ticketholders, who each
banked a £2,783,114 share of the Lotto Double Rollover!
Graham, Managing Director of a local tobacco firm, discovered that he'd won
on Monday morning. He had to double check his tickets to register that he'd
really won and called his wife to tell her the amazing news. Graham still
couldn't believe his luck and had to call a colleague into his office to
confirm the win.
The Forrests have four children and are pleased to be able to plan a
financially secure future for the whole family. The couple are taking some
time to get used to their brand new fortune, with a few treats for the
family and a holiday home at the top of the list. Fiona has green fingers
and wants a proper garden in their new home, and Graham just wants a new
pair of glasses.

won £3,938,641 Million in the UK Lotto on 28 February, 2009.
The group of work colleagues matched six numbers to scoop more than £3 Million.
The syndicate includes managing director, Andy Whitaker, who said he's "very,
very happy with the win". Andy's 79-year-old father Arthur works part-time at
the firm and bought the winning ticket. Arthur says that a new set of false
teeth are at the top of his shopping list with his share of the winnings.
All of the syndicate members will continue to work at the company, which
refurbishes and repairs electric motors. Works director, Peter Lewis, says that
"they are all hard workers and very loyal".
Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

Trina and Mark Myatt were playing the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" board
game at the time of the UK Lotto draw in which they won £1,014,308 on 31
December. They only remembered four of the numbers at the time and thought that
they had won £1,200. However, it was not until New Year's Day that Trina
discovered they had hit all six numbers and scooped the jackpot!
Trina announced the amazing news to the family after picking up 2 bottles of
champagne at the supermarket. Mark promised Alexander, their 8-year-old son,
a toy shop if they won the lottery, and had to back-pedal a little by buying
him Lego worth £300 and a huge Thomas the Tank Engine train set.
The couple are still ecstatic about the New Year win and have already bought
a Mercedes-Benz. They also plan to take a holiday to the Maldives or Disneyland,
and want to pay off their credit cards and mortgage before deciding on what to
do with the rest of the money.
Try keeping a £7 Million secret

Jane Surtees and her partner Mark were elated when she scooped a massive
£7,544,200 Lotto rollover jackpot on 10th December. When asked about
the win, Jane said "I still can't get my head round it, but it is very exciting."
Jane was in such disbelief, she couldn't believe her eyes. She had to triple-check
her numbers before it hit home that she had won the morning after the draw.
The most difficult part was keeping the win a secret from her five children,
who were preparing to go to school.
Once her kids were on their way, she phoned Mark and they went to a café to
chat. Her stuntman partner was just as shocked as Jane, and it felt like
everyone around them already knew. The two were planning to treat her family
to an unforgettable Christmas in Disneyland, followed by a romantic getaway
for two in the Maldives.
