Jackie Livesley and her husband John raked in a £2,630,225 fortune, when they hit the UK Lotto jackpot on 15th November.

They only discovered they'd won after a morning of housework. Jackie checked the winning numbers and realised that they had become multi-millionaires! She yelled out for John, who came running and confirmed that they'd matched all six numbers.

The couple are planning a holiday in the Maldives and John has his eye on a Range Rover. Now the Livesleys can treat themselves to a well-deserved break, just in time for Christmas.

At Long Last... Holiday for the Halfords!

Tina and Colin Halford matched all six numbers in the UK Lotto on Saturday 18th October, winning a £1,134,695 share of the jackpot.

"We looked at each other in disbelief and after checking the numbers, one by one, I found out we had potentially won over a million pounds!" says Tina, Colin recalls joking about a particular line being the winning ticket!

After two years without a decent holiday, the Halfords are both now retired and will be treating the whole family to a well-deserved getaway.

Lady Luck Shines On Nine

A syndicate of nine carers, who call themselves the A1 Carers, were elated to learn of their £7,055,142.10 share of the incredible £100 Million EuroMillions jackpot on 26th September.

The ladies were committed to winning, and are committed to their residential care home of 15 ladies, three of which are over 100 years old. They are going to continue caring for its residents, even after netting over £778,000 each! Barbara said that they can't let the residents down, and they'll continue to do their shifts, despite the win.

The A1 Carers play the UK Lotto together, but took a shot at the EuroMillions because of the guaranteed mega-jackpot. The lucky syndicate members were greeted with a surprise party after collecting the giant cheque.

Student Spots a Gap in £100 Million Draw

Ianthe Fullagar struck it lucky when she won £7,055,142.10 in the EuroMillions, after matching five numbers and one Lucky Star on Friday 26th September.

The gap year student had only played the EuroMillions once, before deciding to play for the £100 Million jackpot!

Ianthe starts her Law degree in 2009, but decided that a holiday in Egypt and black Ford KA would make a good ramp up to the New Year. She also plans to share the money with her family and friends.

Herbert Plant matched all six numbers on Saturday 31 May's UK Lotto draw, winning a massive £2,607,873!

The St Paul's Hospice chef is divorced with two sons, and heard of his win when his son Richard checked his father's Lotto tickets at the local shop on Sunday afternoon and burst in shouting "you've won, you've won!"

Plant wants to treat himself to a holiday after ensuring his son's have a place of their own. His youngest son did say that it was going to be a lucky weekend, despite Herbert playing the lottery since it started!
