Congratulations, you’ve won the EuroMillions lottery!
Last Friday’s EuroMillions draw produced a lottery winner who scooped the fantastic triple rollover lottery jackpot of £37 million. It wasn’t a UK ticket-holder. .. Ah well, we can’t win ‘em all!
France, however, seems to be on a EuroMillions winning streak as this is where the latest lotto winner comes from. This is the fourth time this year a French player has scooped a multi-million jackpot! Three French winners also shared the first lottery jackpot of 2013.
The latest lotto winner matched all seven numbers in Friday 25th January’s EuroMillions results, which were 3, 10, 18, 31, 37 and Lucky Stars 2 and 4. He or she took home a very cool €44,297,359 million.
But that person wasn’t the only winner celebrating the draw’s outcome. A total of 2,832,734 lottery prizes were paid out that night. One player matched five numbers and one Lucky Star to win the second prize of €1,698,397. Another six ticket-holders matched the five main numbers and secured €94,355 or £63,866 each.
The winning EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle code was QCM991417 and was bagged by a UK player to the tune of £1m.
EuroMillions is played in nine European countries, which are the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg. Players need to match all five main numbers plus the two Lucky Stars to hit the lottery jackpot. There is currently no limit to the amount of times the EuroMillions jackpot can rollover, but it is capped once it reaches €190m. Fortunately, players have two opportunities to win EuroMillions every week with draws on both Tuesday and Friday nights.
