There’s a new entry on the National Lottery Rich List. In at number 14, a yet to be publicly identified UK lottery winner has claimed Friday night’s EuroMillions lottery jackpot of £37,827,314.
This is the 14th largest lottery jackpot win in the UK to date. Friday’s winning lottery results were: 13, 15, 30, 35, 42 and Lucky Stars 4 and 6.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “It has been an extraordinary year for UK ticket holders. This is the eighth EuroMillions jackpot to be won on these shores in 2012. This new jackpot winning ticket holder now sits 14th on the exclusive National Lottery Rich List.”
The latest lucky EuroMillions winner is in good company as the National Lottery Rich List features last month’s lottery jackpot winners, Adrian and Gillian Bayford. The Bayford’s won £148 million, which is the second largest jackpot to date.
The top spot is still held by Colin and Chris Weir with their EuroMillions win back in July 2011 of £161 million.
Slightly further down the list, but still with an impressive lottery win of £45.1 million in February this year, are Matt Topham and Cassey Carrington. Matt recently celebrated his upcoming nuptials to Cassey with a weekend in Amsterdam for his stag do.
Close behind them is couple Gareth and Catherine Bull who bagged £40 million on the lottery in January. A group of bus drivers shared £38 million along with anonymous winners of £22.1 million in March and anonymous lottery winners who took home £46.4 million in February.
Will either next Tuesday’s or Friday’s EuroMillions draw produce another lottery jackpot winner?
