Holidays Galore for £60,000 EuroMillions Winning Syndicate

HOLIDAYS GALORE FOR £60,000 EUROMILLIONS WINNING SYNDICATE

A syndicate of factory workers from insulation business Web Dynamics in Bolton, England have won £60,000 in the EuroMillions draw held on Tuesday January 6. Now they plan on using their winnings to have holidays all over the world. The 18-strong syndicate won a total of £60,126 and each member will receive £3,340. Their winning ticket matched the five main balls in the EuroMillions draw. The winning numbers were: 14-20-30-38-49. If they had been able to match the two Lucky Stars 03 and 04 they’d have won the £16,954,080 EuroMillions jackpot. The EuroMillions win came after the syndicate had been using the same five main lottery numbers for the past eight years. Syndicate leader Bill Clarke, 65, said that the syndicate has “won the odd £20 every now and again” but nothing as big as this EuroMillions win. It was certainly a lucky win for two players who had only joined the syndicate the Friday before the big EuroMillions win.Bill checked the winning numbers the day after the EuroMillions draw and says: “You just never think it will happen to you and I couldn’t wait to get into work to tell the others.” When he told the other members of the syndicate about their EuroMillions lottery win, they didn’t initially believe him. They thought he was just joking about winning £60,000 but eventually they realized he was telling the truth and everyone started jumping up and down in excitement.Clarke added: “It’s great to win as a group and to be able to celebrate together – well the younger ones of us might. We have had a great couple of days at work, so much excitement and a lovely start to the new year.”Spending their winnings on holidays seems a popular choice for the syndicate members with Phil Mawman planning on taking his girlfriend to Mexico. Simon Cookson is planning a trip to Portugal, as well as South Africa for Christmas and New Year and then Las Vegas for his 40th birthday next year. The syndicate, many of whom have worked together for 13 years, say they will continue to play EuroMillions in the future.Purchase your tickets online now at Lottery24.com to get a chance of also becoming a lottery winner.
