BLACKPOOL MUM WILL WAVE HER DAUGHTERS OFF IN STYLE AFTER £300,000 EUROMILLIONS WIN

A mum of three from Blackpool in the north west of England is preparing to say goodbye as her two daughters set off on a travelling adventure, but thanks to the EuroMillions she’ll be able to do it in style!Teresa Leahy, 51, won one of the biggest consolation prizes in last weekend’s EuroMillions draw, taking home £303,465.20 after matching five numbers and one out of the two possible Lucky Stars. Now, the property developer has said that she is delighted that she’ll be able to help two of her daughters out with their travelling plans, and enable them to stay in luxury every once in a while.“They have always wanted to travel to Australia and have been saving hard. Now I will be able to help them on their trip and enable them to stay in lovely places,” she told EuroMillions officials. The lottery winner plays the multi-national game every Friday, but last weekend she played an extra two lines after finding some loose change in the bottom of her bag. “I thought – ‘these are lucky coins’ so I decided to play an extra two lucky dip lines,” she said. And it was one of those two lucky dip lines which won, enabling her to pay off her mortgage and support her daughters in their dreams. Amber, 25, and Sasha, 22, leave for their trip in the next few weeks. Teresa is not the first lottery player to share her lottery fortune with her children, as Vic Eden from Staffordshire decided to split his £1 million UK Lotto prize with his kids. Mrs Leahy said that she is delighted to be able to help make their dreams come true, while also describing the moment that she realised she had won the EuroMillions lottery prize, “I was just jumping around the house and actually had to keep putting cold water on my face, thinking is this really true? Could this all be a dream?” Her thoughts echoed those of Alan Symons, also from Blackpool, who said that winning his UK Lotto prize has been like living a dream.Mrs Leahy told lottery officials that she intends to continue working as usual, just like Linda Windey from Kentucky decided after she took home a $1 million Powerball prize, and, just like an anonymous $1 million Powerball winner from Kansas, she also won’t be putting an end to her EuroMillions lottery playing days either. “I already have my ticket for this Friday. I always thought it could never happen to me and now it has – this is just proof dreams like this can come true for anyone.”To make your dreams come true, play lottery online with us at Lottery24.com.
