2017 saw some massive lottery wins throughout Europe. September saw three EuroMillions jackpots in the space of four draws but then it suddenly became a bit more difficult to win that top prize.The wait for another big win in Italy ended in August with a ticket sold in Caorle scooping the €77.73m SuperEnalotto jackpot.September saw a €130m EuroMillions Superdrawbut still no winner. The rollovers continued until early October when a ticket sold in Spain won a record €190m EuroMillions top prize.The UK had some success in November when a syndicate of dinner ladies in Wales won a £25m EuroMillions jackpot. Later in the month there was an £18,188,218 UK Lotto jackpot win and a €45.785m La Primitiva win. The EuroJackpot draw saw the top prize won three weeks in a row.December saw success for Switzerland with a CHF157,096,272.80 EuroMillions top prize. The year ended almost as it began with a ticket sold in Ireland winning a €38.9m EuroMillions jackpot.
