£1.07M EUROMILLIONS WINNERS WON’T BE OFF TO SEE SANTA

Trevor and Pat Boyce from Addlestone in Surrey, England are celebrating after winning £1,078,870 in the November 27 EuroMillions draw, but they won’t be off to see Santa. The Mega Friday EuroMillions draw offered five £1m prizes plus a special Christmas holiday. However, the couple decided to opt for the cash alternative that was on offer. Scotsman John Edmonds won a luxury holiday playing EuroMillions earlier this year.On the day of the draw, the father-of-three, 54, was on his way to work for a 12-hour shift as an aircraft towing operator at Heathrow Airport where he’s worked for 30 years. On his way he popped into Martin’s at Sainsbury’s in Chertsey to purchase a EuroMillions ticket. Two days later he was enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon. His wife, 60, was busy making their Sunday roast, while Trevor settled down to listen to the football commentary on the radio. He’s a Chelsea fan and they were playing Spurs, but then he remembered that his EuroMillions ticket hadn’t been checked. When he saw the millionaire code the football suddenly faded into insignificance. Earlier this year former Chelsea footballer Terry Bradbury won £5.5m playing UK Lotto.Trevor said that he, his wife and two of their children who still live at home, had a “surreal” Sunday lunch chatting about their big win.The couple will now renovate their current home before selling it, so they can achieve a lifelong dream. They’ve always wanted to move to the countryside in Dorset and now thanks to EuroMillions they can do that. In September a couple from Ireland won a €7,384,790 Irish Lotto jackpot and planned to use it to buy their dream home.Pat is planning early retirement from her job at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey but Trevor will carry on working. He also fancies buying a Range Rover. As with many lottery winners the couple will also help their family and plan to help their children with a deposit for a home. That’s just like Peter Congdon who won a £13.5m UK Lotto jackpot and bought his daughter a house.Make sure you are in with a chance of winning and changing your life and purchase your lottery tickets online at Lottery24.com.
