The weekend proved to be another prosperous one for lottery players with jackpot wins in the EuroMillions, Lotto 6 aus 49 and UK Lotto draws.
Friday’s EuroMillions draw saw a ticket sold in Switzerland winning the jackpot winning its owner CHF89,415,763 (€76m). The win follows in the footsteps of the Swiss winner who landed a CHF157,096,272.80 EuroMillions jackpot last December. The numbers in Friday’s draw were 01-29-33-45-47 and the two Lucky Stars 04 and 08. On Tuesday, the jackpot returns to £14m.
The EuroJackpot draw on Friday had a jackpot of €17m but will be €24m next Friday after a rollover. The elusive numbers were 06-08-16-23-50 and the two EuroNumbers 04 and 08. There was one second-tier winner of €1.406.265,30 and two tickets matched the five main balls to win €248.164,40.
In the USA, the Mega Millions jackpot was $45m but failed to produce a jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 16-33-51-54-67 and the Mega Ball 20. There were no second-tier winners unlike a syndicate from Wisconsin, USA, who played for 14 years before winning a $1m Mega Millions prize. Tuesday’s draw has a $50m top prize.
The UK Lotto draw had a jackpot of £9,561.853 and was won after one ticket was lucky enough to match 01-04-31-33-52-55 and the Bonus Ball 13. Last month, Paul Long from England won a £9.3m UK Lotto jackpot. Wednesday’s draw has a top prize of £1.8m.
Saturday’s Lotto 6 aus 49 draw also saw its jackpot won. A single ticket matched 12-15-19-27-34-47 and the Bonus 08 to win €7,135,158.60. Another ticket got the six main numbers to win €1,619,838.20. On Saturday the jackpot will be €1m.
The jackpot wins on Saturday continued with another lottery millionaire being created in the Spiel 77 draw. One ticket landed €1,177,777 as their ticket successfully matched 3-0-7-6-0-3-6. Further success occurred as four tickets won the €100,000 top prize in the Super 6 draw by matching 3-5-7-5-8-1.
Two years ago, a ticket sold in Calabria won a €163.5m SuperEnalotto top prize but there was no jackpot winner on Saturday. The draw had a €125.3m top prize but tickets were unable to match 03-20-47-55-81-83 and the Jolly 28. Tuesday sees a €126.3m jackpot.
The Powerball jackpot was $74.9m on Saturday but didn’t end up with someone winning that top prize so there’ll be a $89m top prize on Wednesday. The numbers no ticket could match were 02-17-20-38-39 and the Powerball 20. There were no tickets able to match the five main numbers as Leonardo Angeles from Missouri did in the past to win $1m playing Powerball.
Saturday’s La Primitiva draw saw a second-tier win of €1,634,395.80. The ticket was sold in Rosas, a village in the province of Gerona. The next draw is on Thursday with a bumper €13.7m jackpot on offer.
A successful weekend ended with a jackpot win in the Joker draw. One ticket took home €119,517.70 for matching 3-2-8-9-5-9.
