A POT OF GOLD FOR $1M LOTTO MAX WINNING COUPLE

Holidays and looking after their family are on the horizon for Canadians Robert Van Zytveld and Candace Owens and Mark McKenzie after big wins playing the Lotto Max lottery.

Robert Van Zytveld from Langley in British Columbia plans to go on holiday to an exotic location after he won $500,000 in the July 6 Lotto Max draw. Initially he though that the ticket scanner was broken but then he checked his phone and “it was a match.” His win follows the recent $7m Lotto 6/49 win by Wayne Martin from British Columbia.

Now Robert plans on using his Lotto Max winnings to take his wife to Bora Bora. Welshman David Godfrey wants to take his mum on holiday to New York, USA, after his £100,000 National Lottery Magenta scratchcard win.

Other Plans for his Lotto Max windfall include getting the new kitchen that he’s been thinking of getting for “quite some time.”  Perhaps he could hire Jordon Morgan from Wales who’s investing in a home renovation business after he won £70,000 on a National Lottery Red Hot 7’s Doubler scratchcard.

The Lotto Max winner might also spend some of his winnings on his other interests which are going fishing, cookery and riding his Harley. Charles and Lauri Caron from Ontario, Canada, recently won a $675,000 Set For Life windfall and plan on going traveling through Arizona, USA, on their motorcycles.

Also celebrating are Candace Owens and Mark MacKenzie from Drew in Ontario after they won $1m in the August 10 Lotto Max draw. It took them several checks of their Lotto Max ticket before they were convinced of their big win. It’s another big win in Ontario after Ranjini Cassup won a $175,000 Lotto Max prize.

The couple regularly buy a couple of Lotto Max tickets every week hoping for what Mark describes as “the almost impossible.” However, the saying is ‘if you don’t buy, you can’t win’ and finally their luck was in with this $1m Lotto Max windfall.

It was a magical moment when they collected their Lotto Max winnings, as a rainbow appeared in the sky. Mackenzie joked, “I guess there is a pot of gold out there.” The Lotto Max winners say that their win will help their entire family. “We feel very fortunate winning this amount of money. Besides Candace and myself, our children and grandchildren will get a boost in their life,” said Mark.
