Latest EuroMillions Winner Adds to Run of UK Jackpot Wins
Just a day after the Easter holidays, a ticket sold in the UK gave its owner plenty of reasons to celebrate. The latest EuroMillions winner came in Tuesday’s draw with the £38m jackpot being won by a lucky UK ticket holder.
The numbers drawn in the 23 April EuroMillions draw were 18-23-27-42-44 and the two Lucky Stars of 02 and 07. By matching those numbers they won the £38,254,645 jackpot. However, the latest EuroMillions winner has yet to come forward to claim their prize.
Time to Check Your Tickets
All we know is that the jackpot winner purchased their winning ticket in the UK. A delighted Andy Carter from the National Lottery can’t wait for the winner to come forward. “Players all across the country are now urged to check their tickets to be in with a chance of claiming this amazing prize.”
Mr Carter added that “it’s certainly proving to be a lucky year for UK EuroMillions players.” That’s certainly the case and the latest EuroMillions winner joins an exclusive club of UK players who have had a jackpot win in 2019.
What a way to Start 2019
We didn’t have to wait long for the first UK success of the new year. Patrick and Frances Connolly from Northern Ireland had an unforgettable start to 2019. They won the £114.9m jackpot on 1 January which made it the fourth largest UK win in the history of the EuroMillions lottery. They have also pledged to help at least 50 other people with their windfall.
Also celebrating a big EuroMillions win this year was Ade Goodchild from Hereford, England. He matched all seven numbers in the 15 March draw to win a £71m EuroMillions jackpot. The next EuroMillions draw takes place on 27 April with the jackpot returning to £14m.
