Double Family Celebration for Postcode Lottery Winners

Philip Corcoran from Leeds in Yorkshire, England was delighted with his £50,000 Postcode Lottery prize. Then he found out his son James had won three times that amount.

It was an even more amazing win for James as he no longer lives at the winning postcode. He moved house two years ago but didn’t want to cancel his Postcode Lottery tickets. Now he’s had this big win, he will continue using his old postcode but also his new one too.  Ian Calver from Chelmsford won £111,111 using his old postcode.

The hairdresser plans on using some of his winnings to renovate his salon.  A recent £100,000 Postcode Lottery is revamping his tattoo parlour.

His father is planning some home improvements (including a bar) and also going on some holidays. He’s already got some booked already with trips to Zante and Marrakech. The father-of-two is keen on spending his money, saying: “Can’t take it with you.”

Long Cruise

Angela Walker and her husband Billy won a £100,000 Postcode Lottery prize. Angela was pleased to receive her cheque early. That way she didn’t miss out on her pre-booked hair appointment.

The couple have been married for 45 years. A lengthy cruise is on its way and that will include visiting their only daughter who lives in Australia. It will take between eight and ten weeks to get there but Billy said: “We’re retired so that wouldn’t really matter.”

Dream wedding

The wedding of their dreams is now affordable for Philip Cooper and Ann-Marie Bruder after their £150,000 win. They had been on a caravan holiday in The Wirral on Merseyside but returned home to receive their Postcode Lottery cheque.

Philip thought the win might only be £10,000, £15,000 at the most and couldn’t believe how much had been won.  The couple were going to have an Indian meal before heading back to continue their caravan holiday. They want to travel the UK in their caravan but are now going to go to Italy and Greece.
