€278,540 EUROMILLIONS WINNERS HEADING OFF ON HOLIDAYA syndicate of 11 office workers from Dublin in Ireland are celebrating after they won €278,540 in the July 31 EuroMillions draw, now they can’t wait to go on holiday.11 seems to be a lucky number at present as that’s the number of people who were in the recent $543m Mega Millions jackpot winning syndicate. Irishwoman Susan Grace, also from Ireland, won €50,000 on a National Lottery scratchcard 11 years after her previous big win.The Dublin syndicate members have asked to remain anonymous just like the recent €1,005,000 EuroMillions winners from the southeast of Ireland. Each member of the EuroMillions winning syndicate will receive just over €25,000. Their syndicate spokeswoman said: “We all work on the same team and have been running our syndicate for over a year.”They had been buying their EuroMillions tickets from shops in Dublin but recently started playing online as they found that easier to manage.The spokeswoman added that when an email came through from the National Lottery saying they had won a prize in the latest EuroMillions draw, she didn’t check it presuming it might be another small win. A few hours later she finally opened the email and admits she “couldn’t speak for 10 minutes” after seeing the size of their EuroMillions win. Donna Strickley from Slough in Berkshire, England discovered that she and her husband David had won a £21.7m UK Lotto jackpot when checking the results online.The EuroMillions winning syndicate all work for a large company in Dublin.
