€130 million (£111 million) EuroMillions Superdaw on Friday June 6

It’s been announced that the second EuroMillions Superdraw of the year will take place on Friday June 6. The jackpot will be enhanced to a fabulous €130 million (£111 million). Who knows? You might just be the winner after buying a ticket from Lottery24.

The first EuroMillions Superdraw of the year was held on March 7. That ended in a rollover and three weeks later,  a EuroMillions ticket sold in Austria won a record €250 million. 

Jackpot win is overdue

We must be due a EuroMillions Superdraw producing a winner. The last three have all ended in a rollover. If the Superdraw does not see the top prize won, then it will rollover just like a normal draw. It can carry on doing this until the jackpot cap is reached which is now €210 million..

The last one that did see the €130 million jackpot won was in March of last year. It was  a EuroMillions ticket sold in a Barcelona sweet shop that scooped the fabulous prize. 

This will be the tenth EuroMillions Superdraw to be held in the month of June. Only three of the previous nine have been won on the night, the most recent being in 2023. Each of those three jackpot wins were won by tickets that had been sold in the UK. WIll we see a fourth win in June?

The first ever EuroMillions Superdraw was held in February 2007. The €100 million jackpot was won by a ticket sold in Belgium.

Spanish success

Spain has had the most success in Superdraws with five wins. They are followed by the UK with four and France with three. Portugal, Austria and Belgium have all seen one ticket sold in that country win a Superdraw jackpot.

The last EuroMillions jackpot win was in the draw held on April 4. It was a French ticket that was successful that evening and won a €30 million top prize.

Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw ended in a rollover. The next is being held on Friday and the jackpot will be €124 million (£106 million).
