EuroMillions Draw Reaches Its €250 million (£208 million) Jackpot Cap

Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw ended in another rollover. That means the jackpot cap has now been reached. Friday will see players trying to win a record-equalling jackpot of €250 million (£208 million).

The rollover means that Friday’s planned EuroMillions Superdraw has been postponed. Instead, players will be hoping to make history by successfully matching the five main numbers and the two Lucky Stars. That’d produce the first jackpot winner since April 4.

Must-be-won draw?

If four more rollovers were to occur, then on June 20 we would have a must-be-won draw. Another rollover would see the jackpot total being shared between whoever gets a win in the next prize tier. Perhaps the winner might end up  writing their own autobiography just as another EuroMillions winner did.

While the jackpot cannot climb any higher, it means rollovers will see the second-tier prize become even larger. On Tuesday, six players won that prize. Tickets sold in France, Austria and Ireland each won €212,330.10. Three UK tickets each won their owner(s) £152,190.

The only previous €250 million EuroMillions jackpot was won in March  by a ticket sold in Austria.

Lucky numbers?

What numbers could win you the €250 million (£208 million) jackpot?  Let’s look at trends from the past ten draws that have taken place.

Single-figure numbers have only been seen in one of the last four draws and none appeared on Tuesday. Six of the last ten draws have seen a single-digit number make an appearance.

The Lucky Stars are vital if you want to win the EuroMillions jackpot. Both of the last two draws have seen Lucky Star number 5 drawn. In the last ten draws, only 3,8 and 11 haven’t been drawn out so perhaps they’re due on Friday.

Notable by their absence in the last three draws are any numbers in the 16-29 range. Numbers in the 30s are popular though with five in the last three draws. As for the 40s, only one of the last ten hasn’t seen one appear. Just what will happen on Friday?
