EUROMILLIONS JACKPOT REACHES €135 MILLLION AS TUESDAY’S DRAW PRODUCES 11TH ROLLOVER

The EuroMillions jackpot continues to rise after no one was able to match the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars in the draw held on Tuesday 10th June. It’s the 11th rollover and as a result the estimated jackpot for this Friday’s draw (June 13) will be a massive €135 million (£109 million). That’s the highest jackpot total so far this year. The jackpot in Tuesday’s draw was €118 million (£95 million) but despite that not being won there were over 2.9 million people who did have cause to celebrate after the EuroMillions draw, all winning some form of monetary prize. With most to celebrate were the nine players who won a second tier prize after successfully matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. They all win €195,840 (£138,484). There were 14 winners in the third prize tier who each won €41,965 (£29,675) by matching all five main numbers. All other winning ticket holders in the main draw secured prizes worth between €3.60 (£2.50) for matching just two main numbers, up to €4,815 (£3,405) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The numbers drawn on Tuesday were: 12, 18, 21, 32, 33 with the two Lucky Stars 1 and 11.The last time the jackpot was won in the EuroMillions draw was on May 2, when a ticket sold in the UK won its owner over €89 million (£73 million). The highest jackpot so far this year was the €130 million (£108 million) shared by two tickets purchased in Noia, Galicia, Spain and in the departement Indre-et-Loire, France for the draw held on January 7th. Neil Trotter from the UK is the biggest single winner in 2014 after scooping €129 million (£107 million) in the draw held on March 14th.The EuroMillions jackpot has been steadily rising over the past month and went through the €100 million mark last week. That caused the planned EuroMillions Superdraw due to take place last Friday (June 6th) to be postponed. Those wanting to buy tickets for the weekend draw are advised to purchase them ahead of time and avoid the inevitable last minute rush. For your chance to win, play now at Lottery24.com!
