EuroMillions Reaches Jackpot Cap Again

After yet another rollover, there’s a £210 million (€250 million) EuroMillions jackpot in tomorrow’s draw. Could it be a ticket purchased from Lottery24 that wins this amazing prize.

It’s the third time in 2025 that the €250 million jackpot cap has been reached. The most recent was the €250 million prize won by an Irish family syndicate on June 17. That was one of two wins of that amount this year. The other saw  a ticket sold in Austria win the jackpot in March.

This year has seen the EuroMillions jackpot won on only six occasions. By this time last year there had been 11 EuroMillions jackpots won.  Even larger jackpots could occur in the future.

Historic win?

If a UK ticket wins the jackpot, it will be an historic occasion. The UK’s largest ever win has been £195 million in July 2022. Two UK tickets came close to making history in Friday’s draw. They matched all the main balls but missed out on one of the Lucky Stars but both still won £416,384.50

Recently, two EuroMillions players in Guildford both won £1 million playing EuroMillions. The Surrey residents proved that Friday the 13th isn’t an unlucky day for everyone with their success on June 13.

Fed up

One of the winners was a woman who said she felt “a little bit fed up” working so decided to cheer herself up by buying a EuroMillions ticket. It certainly did the desired job by winning her £1 million.

The other winner was a man in his 60s. He usually plays three lines but for some reason decided to add an extra one. You guessed it, the additional line was the one that won him his £1 million prize.

Recalling the moment he discovered his win, he said:  “'I really couldn’t believe it. I had to check my online account four times.”  He now plans to retire earlier than planned. Some holidays and helping his family are also planned.

Who knows? More big wins could be on the way in tomorrow’s EuroMillions draw.
