EuroMillions Superdraw on September 9… Perhaps

September is going to be a great month to play EuroMillions. The next EuroMillions Superdraw is scheduled to take place on Friday September 9. However, due to the current massive jackpot, it may be cancelled. Whatever happens a massive EuroMillions win is on its way.

The latest EuroMillions draw took place on Tuesday and again ended in a rollover. The last jackpot win was on July 29. On Friday September 2, the top prize is €127m (£108m). Time therefore to buy tickets for the draw from Lottery24.

The scheduled EuroMillions Superdraw will have a €130m top prize. If however the next two draws produce rollovers, then the jackpot will already be an even larger amount. That would see the Superdraw postponed.

If that does happen it’ll be the second time this year a EuroMillions Superdraw has had to be called off. It happened with the one due to take place on April 29. That was postponed due to the fact the jackpot had already exceeded that amount.

Record jackpot

Two EuroMillions Superdraws have so far been held in 2022. The first was on February 4 with a UK ticket winning the enhanced €130m (£109m) jackpot. Then there was the June 17 Superdraw that ended in a rollover. The jackpot was finally won in the July 19 draw with a ticket sold in the UK winning the record €230m (£195.7m) jackpot.

That record might not last too long because the EuroMillions jackpot cap has now been increased to €240m. When that is won, it will again go up and reach the maximum jackpot of €250m.

Big win on the way

Whether there is a EuroMillions Superdraw on September 9 or not, we know a €120m + jackpot win is just around the corner, perhaps that new all-time record.

Three of the last four EuroMillions Superdraws have ended in a rollover. Seven superdraws have been held in September and three of them have produced jackpot wins.
