New Career for £120,000 Set for Life Winner

Winning a massive lottery prize really can change your life. That’s definitely so for Olivia  and Kevin Love from Glasgow in Scotland. They won £10,000 a month for a year in the  May 15 Set for Life draw.

Their ticket matched the five main balls and that won them the second-tier prize. Overall, they will receive a total of £120,000. At least  they kept their lottery ticket safe unlike other recent Scottish players.

Olivia has been working part-time in a supermarket but the 36-year-old has already quit that job. This Set for Life win will help her achieve a personal dream of becoming a wedding content creator.

That’s something the mother of four has wanted to achieve since her 2024  marriage to Kevin. That was  “very low-key” and they employed a social media content creator. A photographer or videographer was simply out of their budget range.

Despite that, the couple loved the results and the Set for Life winner said that she’d “been secretly wanting to try it myself ever since.” To do so would have meant her giving up her job and that wasn’t financially viable until now.

Looking ahead to the future, Olivia says “I cannot wait to start building what could be my dream career.”  A £166,666 Postcode Lottery winner was able to expand her business  thanks to the windfall.

Before that though, the Scottish couple enjoyed a shopping spree. “It felt very strange to walk into the shops and not worry about the price tags or whether we could afford it,” said the Set for Life winner.

Pretty Woman moment

Olivia described the shopping spree as a “real Pretty Woman moment,” as she made her way down the High Street “laden with shopping bags.”

Last legs

A new car has also been purchased as Kevin’s was on “its last legs.” His wife describes their new vehicle as “nothing super fancy” but it “still feels special.”

Their children have also been treated with presents including a new bicycle, toys galore and an electric guitar.
