While another player discovered that he had won a €250,000 Irish Lotto prize after leaving his ticket unchecked for weeks. Also taking a while to find out about their big win was a Welshman who won a £1.8m UK Lotto prize.The group formed a limited liability company to deal with their huge Mega Millions win. Their lawyer, Andrew Grossman commented, “These are good folks, they deserve it.” After paying the tax due on the winnings each member of the syndicate will receive around $30,000.They are the latest work syndicate to have a massive win. A group of co-workers in Canada won a $55m Lotto Max jackpot. Another group of workers from New York also shared a $58m Mega Millions win in March.“They said they would use the extra money for Christmas presents,” Grossman said.
