£250,000 Postcode Lottery Win To Help Keep Farm Afloat

£250,000 Postcode Lottery Win To Help Keep Farm Afloat
A £250,000 Postcode Lottery will help save her father’s farm. Isara Panicker from Cwrt Henri in Wales will use some of her winnings to fulfil a promise she’d made to her father.
A major problem facing her father’s farm is the dangers caused by the nearby river. A bridge is needed to prevent the farm being cut off when the river rises. Isara had promised to get a bridge built and now that can finally happen.
The mother-of-one summed the situation up by saying: “It's definitely better to drive over a bridge than through a river!”
Initially, her belief that £1,000 had been won and that would have “been amazing.” When finding out her Postcode Lottery win was £250,000 Isara admits to feeling “absolutely overwhelmed.”
Titanic
Her son Fraser will receive a very special present for his upcoming seventh birthday: £589 will be spent on buying him a 9,000 Lego model of the Titanic. It’s one of the biggest Lego sets in the world.
The family are off to India in November. This Postcode Lottery winner says “it’ll be lovely to enjoy that trip without worrying about pocket money.” Carol Collings from Wales also won £250,000 playing the Postcode Lottery.
Triple win
Celebrating at another local farm is Susan Childs. She won £250,000 as did her mother-in-law and tenant. Susan says that the fact they’ve all won as well as her neighbour makes the win “something special.”
The Postcode Lottery win will boost an upcoming holiday to New Zealand in 2026. Before that, Susan plans to give Christmas treats to her three grandsons, perhaps they like Lego too.
Her tenant Julie Carter is a retired nurse. Her £250,000 will make retirement a lot easier. .Some luxurious holidays with her husband and a brand-new kitchen are being planned.
Recently, Julie considered cancelling her ticket but “we didn’t hit that button. And thank goodness we didn’t.” That also happened to a recent £250,000 Postcode Lottery winner from Birmingham.
