£321,840.60 Winning EuroMillions Prize Finally Claimed

Less than three weeks before its expiry date, a £321,840.60 EuroMillions prize has been claimed. The lucky ticket was purchased in Winchester in Hampshire, England.

It was in the EuroMillions draw held on November 19, 2024 that this great win occurred. The ticket managed to match all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. If the other Lucky Star had been matched, the £140 million jackpot would have been won.

Despite the fantastic win, the EuroMillions prize remained unclaimed until the final month in which it was valid.  An American syndicate  took six months to claim their $822.4 million Powerball jackpot.

“Wow!”

The senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn is Andy Carter. Speaking about the EuroMillions prize finally being claimed, he said: “Wow, this winner certainly has kept us on our toes.”

He is delighted for the winner who has so far not gone public with their win. Mr Carter said that seeing someone win a life-changing prize “certainly raises our pulse here at the National Lottery.”

Change of numbers

It didn’t take a man from Meath in Ireland anywhere near so long to claim their €127,814 EuroMillions prize. His amazing slice of luck came in the April 15 draw.

His win really surprised him because it was via a Quick Pick ticket. He’s been playing his own selection for years but his first Quick Pick ticket was the one that won him €127,814.  Down under, a couple  changed their numbers and won a $50 million Australian Powerball jackpot.

He was on a golfing trip when the win happened. His family told him there had been a local win but the ticket he’d purchased was in his car at home. He discovered his win when returning home the  following day.

At first no one believed his great news. “I’ll admit that I've joked about winning one too many times!” he joked. Plans for his winnings include a family holiday.

The next EuroMillions draw is tomorrow with an £84 million jackpot.
