However, this method also proved futile as the email went unnoticed and got deleted under the assumption that it was junk. It wasn't until their second email and third overall attempt to contact him that finally caught his attention.

"Is it true?" he gasped as he read through the email confirming his win. "I actually saw your first email, and I didn't even open it. I assumed it was junk and deleted it, but then I received another email, and I thought, 'Maybe I'll check the app.'"

Within an hour of this interaction, The Lott made a public announcement confirming the rightful winner of the massive jackpot. "Unbelievable! Fifty million dollars! That's insane!" he exclaimed in disbelief. "I'm just sitting here watching the game with my son. When my wife gets home, have I got news for her!
