Train Journeys Aplenty for  $65 million Lotto Max Winner

Mohit Sharma from Ontario in Canada has been revealed as the winner of a $65 million Lotto Max jackpot. Now he’s planning the train journeys of a lifetime.

His win came in the Lotto Max draw held on October 15, 2024. Finally, he’s claimed his fantastic prize and has been talking about his success.

The lucky player comes from the Greater Toronto area. He described his Lotto Max win as “unbelievable” and revealed he didn’t choose his winning numbers.

His win came four years after beginning to buy tickets during the pandemic. He explained that it gave him “a weekly routine to look forward to during the lockdowns.”

.The discovery of his $65 million Lotto Max win came after hearing a ticket sold locally had won the jackpot.  Even though he was cooking a meal, Mohit decided to check his tickets that were stored in a drawer.

Pounding

“I couldn’t believe it and my heart started pounding,” Sharma said after realising he was the big winner. Then he went for a walk to calm himself down before returning home to again check his ticket.

Ontario is a lucky place to play the lottery. Last year  saw Anna Pelka win a $20 million Lotto Max jackpot.

He couldn’t immediately tell his family the news as they were travelling, so waited until they returned.

That proved to be “an emotional moment with lots of trembling hands and elevated heart rates all around.”  New champagne glasses were purchased so they could celebrate in style.

He now wants to help his family and ensure they are free of financial worries. Some  local charities will also be helped. That’s what  $40 million Lotto Max winner Elizabeth Trafford  did.

Orient Express

Now he can fulfil his dream of travelling on some of the most luxurious trains in the world. That will see him going to Japan, India, the UK, Australia and the Orient Express.

It might not be all travelling though for the Lotto Max winner. He’s thinking of studying for another degree or diploma.
