TWO OUT OF THREE AUSTRALIAN SATURDAY LOTTO SUPERDRAW WINNERS COME FORWARD IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA

There were 14 winning tickets across Australia in last weekend’s $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw, and three of those were sold in WA.Now, two out of those three winnings ticket holders have come forward to claim their shares of the prize, which accounts to around $1.5 million each, with one ticket still unclaimed in the state. One of those winners was a single mother from Thornlie, WA, who works as a supermarket assistant, and she told lottery officials that after finding out she’d picked the winning numbers, she barely slept. A man from Perth said it took him only ten seconds to realise he’d won $1.3 million playing the Australian Saturday Lotto.“I only had four hours sleep last night after finding out the news,” said the lucky winner, continuing: “Not even lack of sleep and coffee were keeping me in bed today – I’ve woken up a millionaire.” The Thornlie woman knew she was a millionaire straight away, unlike a retired couple from Canberra who were Saturday Lotto Superdraw winners for four days without realising. The WA lottery winner, who is in her fifties, told lottery officials that she plans to use her $1.5 million prize to buy her first home, since she has been renting for all of her life, just like a man from London in England who could finally get on the property ladder thanks to a EuroMillions win. She bought her Saturday Lotto Superdraw ticket from Forest Lakes News agency in Thornlie. The other Saturday Lotto Superdraw winning ticket belonged to two friends who have been buying WA Lotto tickets together for 23 years. The two Perth friends bought their winning $1.5 million ticket from Arcade News in Victoria Park, and they told lottery officials that their prize money will be split down the middle. A brother and sister from Perth also planned to share their $1.3 million Saturday Lotto prize. The pair, who both work as tradies, have been playing the same numbers together ever since they first started buying tickets, but that almost changed recently. “It was just a few weeks ago my mate told me we should change them; I replied, ‘no way, we’re sticking with them.’” One of the winners said. However, there have been lottery winners who have found luck thanks to a change of numbers, including a player from Baltimore in Maryland who ended up winning $50,000 on the Bonus Match 5.The other winning WA Saturday Superdraw ticket was purchased at Sea Change News in Dunsborough. Why not purchase your lottery tickets online at Lottery24.com to follow in the footsteps of the winners.
