Another EuroMillions rollover

The jackpot cap has been reached in the EuroMillions draw. No tickets were able to win the jackpot on Friday evening. Anyone choosing low numbers on Friday had no chance of winning the record-equalling jackpot.

Those selecting successive numbers did well though. The numbers that were drawn were: 20-21-29-30-35 and the two Lucky Stars 2 and 12.

It was another near-miss for Austria as a ticket matched the five main balls and one Lucky Star to win €2,737,810.60. This year has already seen a ticket sold in Austria win a record €250 million EuroMillions jackpot.

The second-tier prize was also won by tickets sold in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and two in Portugal. A ticket purchased in the UK won its owner(s) £2,026,284.40.

Lottery fever down under

There’s also a massive jackpot in this Thursday’s Australian Powerball draw. Players will be hoping they can  win the $100 million Powerball top prize. That’s just what a woman from Brisbane did  last August.

The last $100 million Australian Powerball jackpot was in November 2024. At one stage, over 6,400 tickets were sold in just one minute. It’s expected that nearly half of all Australian adults will buy a ticket for Thursday’s draw.

Stateside success?

In the USA, tomorrow’s Mega Millions draw has a $243 million jackpot with a cash option of $108 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot has only been won once since the new rules  were introduced. That was on April 8 when a $112 million top prize was won by a ticket sold in Ohio.

2025 has seen the Mega Millions jackpot won on three occasions. The next win will equal the total of four that was won last year.
