Canadian Players Become Multiple Lottery Winners

Trang Pham from Mississauga in Canada must be one of the luckiest lottery players in the world. In January 2025, she was part of a $60 million winning Lotto Max syndicate and now she’s landed a $250,000 scratchcard win.

Pham received $12 million from the Lotto Max win but that didn’t stop her playing lottery games. The retiree has been playing lotteries since being legally able to.

The delighted lottery player recalled how her latest win happened.. While out shopping, she felt thirsty and decided to get a drink from a gas station. While there, a couple of scratchcards were also purchased.

They weren’t checked until the following day and amazingly one had won $250,000. “I was so happy and excited,” said Pham.

Earlier this month, Paul Corcoran  from Massachusetts saw two tickets both win $1 million in a Powerball draw.

The lottery winner added that it’s “unbelievable” two big wins have come in the same year. “It feels like I was struck by lightning twice in one year. You have to give yourself a smack just to make sure it’s real!” she added.

After the big win, Pham said she’d buy a new home, give some money to her parents and also make some investments. With this latest lottery success, the plans are to pay some bills and go travelling. In England,  a player from Sussex celebrated two Postcode Lottery wins.

Triple success

Neil Carter from Keswick in Ontario, Canada has also become a multiple winner. He’s been playing for 40 years and in 2016 won a $15,000 scratchcard prize.

October 2024 saw another $350,000 won. Now the father of three with seven grandchildren has  won another $1 million scratchcard prize.

Mr Carter was out shopping and saw two Millionaire Multiplier tickets on the counter. He decided to buy both and the rest is history.

He now plans to buy a house and save the rest. “Being a winner feels miraculous. You never know if you’ll be the one,” said the triple lottery winner.
