€130 million (£110 million) EuroMillions Superdraw On December 5

December is always a month to look forward to. It’s going to be even more special this year because on Friday December 5 there’s a €130 million (around £110 million) EuroMillions Superdraw taking place.

Just imagine it, December could be the month in which you could become a multi-millionaire. Let’s hope that a ticket purchased from Lottery24 wins the jackpot.

This will be the third EuroMillions Superdraw of 2025. The first was held in March and ended in a rollover. The top prize kept on rolling over and the €250 million jackpot cap was reached. A EuroMillions ticket sold in Austria eventually won a record top prize.

A EuroMillions Superdraw was due to be held in June. However, the jackpot was already over the €130 million mark so the Superdraw was cancelled.

We had to wait until September for the second EuroMillions Superdraw of the year. On that occasion, the jackpot was won by a ticket that had been purchased in Belgium.

Superdraws in December are not that common. We had to wait until 2021 for the first one to take place. Both the draws in 2021 and 2022 failed to produce a jackpot winner.

Two years ago, there was a special EuroMillions Superdaw with a massive €200 million jackpot but no tickets were able to win the top prize.

Due a win

There has never been a Superdraw winner in the month of December. Let’s hope that is a statistic that can be put to bed this year.

If the top prize isn’t won on December 5, then the jackpot will keep climbing. Maybe it’ll even reach the €250 million jackpot cap. If that does happen, it’ll be around Christmas time.
