First Ever Purchase Wins $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Prize

It was first time lucky for a woman from Tea Gardens in New South Wales,Australia. With her very first Lucky Lotteries ticket, she won a $100,000 prize.

Her sister is a regular player so on a whim she decided to follow suit. Never did she imagine a big prize would be won, especially in her first draw.

However, on April 22 her first ever ticket produced  an amazing success. Not being used to entering lottery draws, she hadn’t checked the results. The next day while on her way to a doctor’s appointment, the lottery company phoned her with the great news.

“Oh my! I’m in shock!” was the immediate response of the Lucky Lotteries winner. Later in the day, she was due to have lunch with some friends.”I’ll have to pop open a bottle of champagne now!” she added.

Another Queensland success

Also winning $100,000 in the April 22 Lucky Lotteries draw was a man from Redlands in Queensland. It’s the latest big win in the state this month after  a syndicate won a $70 million Oz Lotto jackpot.

He also hadn’t seen the result of the previous night’s draw. With his ticket being registered though, the lottery company knew exactly who had won.

His day was being spent carrying out some home renovations. In fact, when that all-important phone call was received, he was up a ladder doing some painting.

He described his win as “absolutely fantastic.” The Lucky Lotteries winner then joked that his windfall will “help buy the paint” as he still has the whole of the outside of the house to do. Then again he suddenly thought, “Maybe with this, I can get someone to help me.”

This latest winner said he had “a funny feeling” about the April 22 draw, so he bought another ticket and that was the one that won $100,000.
