£3.6 million Set for Life Winner to Continue Working

Sandra Hall from Stoke-in-Trent, England will continue working despite her £3.6 million Set for Life win.

The carer won her fantastic prize in the draw held on May 8. For the next 30 years, Sandra will receive £10,000 a month. No wonder the 61-year-old says that the “possibilities are pretty much endless” thanks to this lottery success.

Sandra has worked as a carer for 19 years but will continue working. Another English carer,  Joanne Gibson, also won £3.6 million on the Set for Life  and stopped working night shifts.

Opportunities

The Set for Life winner says this win “won’t change me” but gives her plenty more opportunities. 
Her family and friends are always telling her to do something for herself. A very special treat is on the way for her.

Just like a recent UK Lotto winner,  this player will be buying a hot tub. However, this one will be engraved with the numbers that won her the Set for Life jackpot. “I want to remind myself how lucky I have been every time I take a dip,” she said with a smile.

Also planned are some luxury weekend breaks. It thrills her that now she can go shopping and “not look at the price for once.”

Helping others is so important to her. “If I can help my family and others out, I absolutely will,” said Sandra. For her that’s “one of the most amazing things about winning.”

Her fiance John (who works as a farmer) has had a work van purchased. Money will also be spent on a new bathroom for her sister and her mother’s house will get some new decking.

When the first £10,000 was paid into her bank account, it made her think to herself, “I’ve got 359 of these same payments still left to go.”

April 2026 is going to be a special month for Sandra and John as that’s when the couple are getting married. The bride-to-be can’t wait to go shopping for a wedding dress to make the day even more special.
