Trip of a Lifetime for £111,110 Postcode Lottery Winner

Emma Costin from Filey in North Yorkshire, England made a very important video call to Norway. That was to tell her husband Liam that they had won a £111,110 Postcode Lottery prize.

Life-changing

He was away on a fishing holiday with friends when receiving the amazing news. Emma has described their win as “life-changing”.”

Now the mother-of-two can’t wait to go on holiday to Florida. “It’ll be the trip of a lifetime,” said the lucky player. The couple are also looking at buying a new car and making house renovations.

Francesca won a £144,000 Postcode Lottery prize  even though she’d moved from her North Yorkshire address.

Emma is delighted that she’s not the only local winner. “Everybody knows everybody, so it's really good that they get a share of everything as well."

The Postcode Lottery helps raise money for charity and that’s also delighting Emma. As well as changing our lives it can change things for charities and help them massively,” she said.

Another neighbour celebrating a Postcode Lottery win is Kirsty O’Keefe. Her fantastic win was £55,555. News of her success came just days after a birthday celebration.

Off to Legoland

Her children both love Lego so they’ll be given some special treats. That might include a trip to Legoland in Denmark. An Irish couple also  went on overseas holidays after their €500,000 EuroMillions win.

A surf break is also being planned to delight her surfing loving husband and it might be in Hawaii. Snowboarding in Canada is also possible and they need a new car.    

"This is more than we expected and means we can do what we want to do. I'm so over the moon,” said the delighted Postcode Lottery winner.

Aquatic adventures

Craig Harrison won £55,555 and the driving instructor wants to buy a sea kayak. He’s previously enjoyed himself at nearby Scarborough bay but had to hire the equipment.

Speaking about his Postcode Lottery win, the father-of-two said: “I'm extremely happy. I can spend a bit on the kids and have a nice holiday.”
