Wedding Bells Ring for Three £125,000 Postcode Lottery Winners

Nathan Brown from Northampton in England  has been engaged for 11 years but now he’s finally going to get married. That’s because of a £125,000 Postcode Lottery win.

Finally

The lucky player is a professional football referee. However, in 2014 he was at Wembley for an Eninem concert and proposed to his childhood sweetheart Jade. It’s been a long wait for a wedding but Nathan says of his win: “There are so many things we’ll be able to do. We’ll finally get married for one.”

The couple have been together for 18 years and have two children. Jade says that their wedding was “put on the back burner” but now they can finally tie the knot. They’ve always said they’d get married abroad and Jamaica looks to be where the ceremony will take place.

Home improvements and a new car are on the horizon. The latter is definitely needed as their current one keeps breaking down.  It’s the latest Postcode Lottery in the county of Northamptonshire.

More celebrations

Also winning a £125,000 Postcode Lottery prize are Jamie Holden and his fiancée Laura Fullthorpe. They are also now planning to get married after being together for seven years and engaged for four.

That’s not their top priority though. Between them they have four children and for that reason don’t live together. That will change now after this big win.

They already have a holiday in Turkey booked. With a larger budget, they’ll be able to fulfil their dream of swimming with dolphins.

Honeymoon time

£125,000 winners Ashli and Cory Wise are already married but due to COVID, they never had a proper wedding reception or honeymoon. A player from South Shields  went on their honeymoon thanks to their £76,923 Postcode Lottery win.

The Northampton couple’s wedding was held in their back garden with only 15 guests. Now the mother-of-three daughters says a full celebration can now take place.

They’ll even take their children with them when going to Cyprus for their delayed honeymoon. Also planned is buying a larger house.
