Will April End With a £142 million (€166 million) EuroMillions Jackpot Win?
Will the month of April end with the EuroMillions jackpot being won? Tonight’s draw has a fantastic £142 million (€166 Million) jackpot, the largest of the year.
12x rollover tonight
The top prize was last won on March 15 and tonight’s EuroMillions draw is a 12x rollover. If we do get a winner tonight, it’ll beat the previous highest EuroMillions win of €144 million (£123 million) which was won exactly three months ago by tickets that had been purchased in the UK and Spain.
Not since 2021 has the EuroMillions jackpot been won in April. Hopefully, a ticket bought from Lottery24 will bring that barren run to an end.
There are plenty of other prizes to be won in tonight’s draw. Perhaps you might win £1 million, just like Helen and Derek Garnett from Ulvertson in Cumbria, England.
Busy day
They won that amount seven years ago and recently were part of a team of National Lottery winners that helped give back to the community.
The EuroMillions winners visited the Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool, England. It's one of the largest children’s hospitals in Europe, caring for over 1,200 children and young people every day of the week.
At present the hospital is being redeveloped and this will create a world-class healthcare campus. National Lottery players who had won over £32 million between them helped out last week.
Their day was spent planting trees, bulbs, ever-greens, climbers and bulbs. This was done on an area of the hospital that is close to their bereavement unit.
Since their EuroMillions win, the couple have been able to retire from work. They built their “dream house” in Ulverston, choosing not to move elsewhere. The winners have also been travelling across Europe but were pleased to help out at Alder Hey.
Fiona Ashcroft is the CEO of the Alder Hey Children’s Charity and said she was “extremely grateful” for the help that they had received. Over the years, the hospital has received a great deal of assistance from the National Lottery.
