Will Someone Win Tomorrow’s $900m Mega Millions Jackpot?

Tomorrow night’s Mega Millions has a fantastic $900 million jackpot. Will the march towards $1 billion continue or will we see the top prize won on Tuesday?

There was yet another rollover in the draw held last Friday when the top prize was $843 million. No tickets were able to match 16-21-23-48-70 and the Mega Ball 05.

The rollover has left us with the eighth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history. If the top prize does reach $1 billion, it will be the first time that figure has been reached since a ticket sold in New Jersey won $1.128 billion.

We’re still a fair way behind the record Mega Millions jackpot of $1.602 million that was won in August 2023.  

No jackpot win since June?

This year has seen the top prize in this lottery won four times. Not since June 27 has the Mega Millions jackpot been won. 38 draws have been held since then without the top prize being won.

One of the aims of the  changes that were made to the Mega Millions lottery in April  was to see more money won by players successful in the lower tiers. That has worked because since the last jackpot win, players have won nearly $288 million.
