$100,000 Lucky Lotteries Winners Finally Discover They’ve Won

While cleaning her bathroom, a woman from Wollongong in New South Wales Australia missed a very important call. Luckily, she later discovered a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win.

A prank?

Her amazing piece of lottery luck came in the draw held on Friday June 27. When seeing there were some missed calls and a text message from The Lott, she wondered if a prank was being played on her.

After a closer look she realised it was all legitimate and thought to herself: “maybe I’ve won something.”  After checking her Lucky Lotteries ticket the $100,000 win was discovered.

“I was beside myself,” said the delighted winner. Speaking about plans for her Lucky Lotteries windfall, the delighted player said: “It’s going to allow me to do so many things!”  In April,  a player won $100,000 with their first lottery ticket.

A holiday had already been booked but thanks to this win, she can upgrade to business class. Once that’s been enjoyed, the Lucky Lotteries winner is considering reducing her working hours. The rest of the windfall will “go into savings for a rainy day.”

Long wait

Earlier in the month a man in Grafton (also in New South Wales) also had some Lucky Lotteries success. He won $100,000 in the Friday June 20 draw but went a whole week before finding that out. A recent  $2.2 million Saturday Lotto winner went a weekend before finding out they’d won.

He’d missed phone calls from The Lott so they wrote to him and then he finally checked his tickets.

“I only check my tickets now and then,” explained the thrilled winner. Scared he might lose his winning ticket, he took a photo of it.

He now plans on helping his family with some of his winnings. The rest will make his eventual retirement a lot easier.

His winning ticket was purchased from the  Infinity News & Gifts Grafton store. Its owner Robert Blinman was delighted to hear they’d sold a $100,000 winning ticket just four months after buying the store.
