Powerball Multi-Millionaire Still Doing His Own Laundry

Powerball Multi-Millionaire Still Doing His Own Laundry
Earlier this month, two tickets purchased in Missouri and Texas shared the $1.787 billion Powerball jackpot. The Missouri winner has now come forward to claim his fantastic winnings.
The lucky player has opted to remain anonymous but has been speaking about their success. His win in the September 6 draw is the largest amount won by a lottery player in Missouri, USA.
We don’t know much about the Powerball winner but he is married and he and his wife can now reduce their working hours. “I’m going to just do me for a year,” he said and can’t wait to spend more time with his other half.
Homebody
It doesn’t sound as if he plans using some of his Powerball winnings to travel around the world. He’s described himself as “a homebody” whose perfect day is “sitting at home doing what I do - relaxing.”
Joking about what his wife intends to do, he said: “She’s going to drag me out of town now.” Even though he is now a multi-millionaire, the jovial player joked that he was still doing his laundry the night before claiming his Powerball winnings.
“Best problem I’ve ever had”
He added that being a multi-millionaire is “the best problem I’ve ever had.” However, the time that passed between him discovering his win and claiming his prize included several sleepless nights.
He decided to accept his winnings as a one-off payment of $410.3 million. The other winner of the massive Powerball jackpot is yet to come forward to claim their winnings. There have been no winners of the top prize since that big win. Tonight’s Powerball draw has a top prize of $127 million.
Meanwhile, the Mega Millions top prize continues to climb. Last night’s draw ended in another rollover. That means on Friday, the jackpot will be $474 million and that’s the highest of 2025.
Don’t forget Friday also sees the next EuroMillions Superdraw take place. After a rollover last night, the EuroMillions top prize will be an enhanced €130 million, so don’t forget to buy some tickets.
