Weekend Sees UK Tickets Win EuroMillions and Lotto Jackpots

The weekend was an excellent one for UK lottery players with jackpots won in both the EuroMillions and Lotto draws.

Friday saw the first draw of October produce a £26 million jackpot win for a ticket sold in the UK. It was able to match: 06-12-18-25-41 and the two Lucky Stars 02 and 06.

That was the 133rd UK ticket to win a EuroMillions jackpot. It takes the UK one ahead of France in the table for most jackpot winning tickets sold.

Third UK win of 2025

2025 has seen the UK win three EuroMillions jackpots. Their first and largest win came just 24 days into the new year with an £83 million win. There was another win the following month with a UK ticket winning £65 million.

Now a near eight month wait for another big win is over with this latest EuroMillions jackpot win. The lucky winner(s) of Friday’s EuroMIllions jackpot have already claimed their prize. A recent  £1 million EuroMillions winner thanked a seagull  for her success.

Lotto success

Just 24 hours after that EuroMillions success, there was a winner of the £10.6 million Lotto jackpot. The winning ticket was the only one able to match 06-08-12-33-49-59 and the Bonus Ball 42. No one has so far claimed the jackpot win.  Emotional numbers recently led to a £1.6 million Lotto win.

The senior winners’ adviser at National Lottery operators is Andy Carter. Speaking about the weekend successes, he said: “What a couple of nights – massive congratulations to all the winners.”

With the EuroMillions win claimed, the verification process is now underway. The adviser stated that it’s great to see winners “and see their life-changing journey begin.”  When completed, we’ll see if the successful player(s) decide whether to remain anonymous or not.

As for the unclaimed Lotto win, Mr Carter has encouraged players “to take five minutes to check their emails and tickets, £10.6 million is up for grabs.”

Tomorrow’s EuroMillions jackpot has a £14 million top prize. Wednesday’s Lotto top prize will be £2 million.
