2017 ended with a €38.9m EuroMillions jackpot won by a player from Ireland in Friday’s draw. Both the Powerball and Mega Millions top prizes rolled over again, and the Powerball jackpot has gone through the 400 million dollars mark.
The SuperEnalotto draw on Thursday had a €77.2m top prize, but no tickets could match 10-28-33-43-50-80 and the Jolly 34. No jackpot win on Saturday either with the elusive numbers preventing a €78.5m top prize win being 06-17-23-46-52-53 and the Jolly 85. The first draw of 2018 is on Tuesday with a €79.6m jackpot and players dreaming of a big win, just like the ticket holder from Mestrino in the province of Padua who won a €93.72m SuperEnalotto jackpot.
Friday’s EuroMillions draw produced the final big win of the year. A ticket sold in Ireland won the €38,906,715 as a result of matching 04-08-22-23-48 and the two Lucky Stars 01 and 12. It’s the latest Irish win after a syndicate of Dublin bus drivers won a €24 million EuroMilllions jackpot.On Tuesday the top prize will be £15m.
There was also success in Friday’s Bonoloto draw with one ticket matching 11-17-18-34-35-37 to win its owner €1,210,529.22.
The EuroJackpot draw on Friday had a €34m top prize but the draw ended in a rollover. The numbers drawn were 16-30-33-40-47 and the two EuroNumbers 02 and 04. There was a second-tier win of €1,664,701.80 and two tickets matched the five main numbers to win €293,770.90. On Friday the jackpot will be €47m.
The Mega Millions jackpot was $306m on Friday but again the top prize wasn’t won. The numbers drawn were 04-10-18-28-62 and the Mega Ball 07. There was a second-tier win of a million dollars with that ticket sold in Florida. The final draw of last year saw Sandra McDonald from Virginia, USA, win a $1m Mega Millions prize.Tuesday’s draw has a massive $343m jackpot, not a bad way to start the year.
The UK Lotto top prize on Saturday was £3.47m after one ticket won a £24.43m UK Lotto jackpot on Wednesday. No jackpot winner this time with the elusive numbers being a nightmare for those using birthdays and anniversaries. They were 33-37-42-47-55-58 and the Bonus Ball 34. On Wednesday the jackpot will be £5.3m.
The largest prize on offer this weekend was Saturday’s Powerball jackpot of $390.1m but it’ll be $440m on Wednesday after another rollover. The unmatchable numbers were 28-36-41-51-58 and the Powerball 24.
