Tuesday saw a ticket sold in South Carolina, USA, win the record $1.6bn Mega Millions jackpot. Saturday’s Powerball draw has a $750m top prize.

There was a €54.3m jackpot in Tuesday’s SuperEnalotto draw but tickets were unable to match 06-30-49-56-64-81 and the Jolly 42. Thursday’s jackpot is €55.2m.

Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw saw players trying to win a £52.1m jackpot. The numbers drawn were: 01-02-05-21-32 and the two Lucky Stars 02 and 12. No winner of the top prize but a ticket sold in the UK won a £581,472.70 runners-up prize. On Friday there’s a £63m jackpot just higher than the £57.97m EuroMillions top prize won by Fred and Leslie Higgins from Scotland.

History was made in the USA on Tuesday when a ticket sold at the KC Mart #7 in Simpsonville near Greenville in South Carolina, USA, won the $1.6bn Mega Millions jackpot by matching 05-28-62-65-70 and the Mega Ball 05. The lucky winner has yet to claim their prize. 36 tickets sold around the USA made their owners millionaires by matching the five main balls. This included eight sold in California and four each in New York and Florida. Recently, a fortune cookie helped Ronnie Martin from Pennsylvania win a $1m Mega Millions prize. On Friday the jackpot returns to $40m.

Wednesday’s UK Lotto jackpot was £14.09m but ended in another rollover. The elusive numbers were: 09-22-32-40-51-59 and the Bonus Ball 17. The jackpot rises to £16.5m on Saturday.

Back in the USA, there was a $620m Powerball jackpot but no winner so there’s a $750m top prize on Saturday. Tickets failed to match 03-21-45-53-56 and the Powerball 22. Seven tickets won the runners-up prize of $1m with the tickets sold in Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin. Hopefully on Saturday we’ll get another big winner like Nandlall Mangal from Staten Island in New York, USA who won $245.6m playing Powerball.

One ticket was lucky enough to match all seven numbers in the Spiel 77 draw on Wednesday to win the €2,677,777 jackpot. More success followed in the Lotto 6 aus 45 draw with a single ticket landing the €1,590,988,70 top prize. There were three winners of the runners-up prize in Wednesday’s Lotto 6 aus 49 draw, each receiving €233,126.90. One ticket won the €100,000 Super 6 jackpot

In July there were two large La Primitiva and EuroJackpot top prizes, it’s the same this week with tonight’s La Primitiva jackpot being €48m La Primitiva and a €90m EuroJackpot top prize tomorrow.
