€130m EuroMillions Superdraw on 25 September
Here’s one task that you should carry out in the next week. Make sure you buy a ticket from Lottery24 for the EuroMillions Superdraw being held on Friday 25 September. You might just be the winner of the guaranteed €130m (around £115m) jackpot.
Each EuroMillions draw sees the Reserve Fund receive money from the Common Prize Fund. This builds up an amount that can be used to enhance the jackpot amount in a Superdraw.
The first ever Superdraw took place in February 2007. A ticket sold in Belgium won the €100m top prize. Since then, eight Superdraws have produced a winner but only one of the last eight.
Big Year so far for Spain
It’s the third EuroMillions Superdraw of the year. A ticket sold in Spain landed the fantastic €130m in the draw held on February. The second Superdraw of 2020 took place in July. It didn’t produce a jackpot winner but soon after another ticket sold in Spain won a €144m top prize. Will Spanish eyes be smiling again soon?
What happens when a EuroMillions Superdraw doesn’t produce a winner? Well, it makes buying some tickets for the Tuesday 29 September draw an absolute must. The jackpot simply rolls over as would be the normal case when no tickets match the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars. It can continue to rollover until reaching the cap of €200m.
The EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 18 September is £62m. Even with two rollovers in that draw and next Tuesday, the Superdraw will see the jackpot massively enhanced.
Another September Success
This is the sixth Superdraw held in the month of September. The first two held in 2009 and 2012 both saw the jackpot won by tickets sold in France and Spain, respectively. The past three took place in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and all resulted in rollovers. Perhaps, a win is due in 2020 and it might just be you. Make sure you buy your ticket from Lottery24 in time for this fantastic Superdraw.
