A year on from the creation of 100 UK Euromillions Millionaire Raffle winners to launch the 2012 Olympics, and the National Lottery has just made another 100 EuroMillions players very rich.

In a draw on Friday 26th July, another 100 UK EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle winners were also created. As you can imagine, it was a very exciting time leading up to the event and on the actual night of the draw.

In preparation for this momentous occasion, the National Lottery promoted the sale of EuroMillions tickets by sending out groups of butlers. Obviously they were also promoting the luxury lifestyle winning a cool million would afford, complete with the suggestion of a butler attending to your every whim.

100 EuroMillions Butlers, in full butler attire with silver trays, were spotted at London’s Tower Bridge, and a few less at Liverpool’s Bluecoat. The latter is the city’s creative centre, which benefited from £2,421,000 worth of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to aid its redevelopment in 2008.

A spokesperson from the National Lottery said, “This special EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw could see demand for butlers boosted across the country. With 100 new millionaires all being created on one night it promises to be a spectacular night for players and will hopefully set a new world record.”

Now we will just have to wait and see who those lucky lotto winners are who can afford a butler. In the meantime, the lottery jackpot for Friday 26th July’s draw was not won, which meant it rolled over. That equalled more money in the ‘lotto pot’ for EuroMillions players to play for. That’s the kind of news we like.

EuroMillions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday. Don’t forget to buy your EuroMillions tickets online at
