Winning huge sums in the SuperEnalotto game is never that easy but it seems buying tickets at a certain shop may be the answer. Two ticket-holders have become millionaires in the past couple of draws after buying tickets from the Bar Gerace in Via Padre Pio in Calabria.

The amazing run of luck began on Saturday January 10 when a player from the small town of Montepaone that can be found on the coast near Catanzaro, won the €4,327,432.81 jackpot. The winning numbers in the draw were: 02-13-22-37-48-90.

Now residents of the small town are speculating over just who the mystery SuperEnalotto winner is. The owner of the shop that sold the jackpot winning ticket says that during the summer he sells SuperEnalotto tickets to people from all over the country. During the winter though, it’s only local residents that seem to be buying tickets.

So just who is the mystery SuperEnalotto millionaire? The shop owner added “Whoever they are, we hope that they will remember us”.

The run of luck doesn’t end there though. Rocco Gerace, co-owner of the shop, revealed that in the SuperEnalotto draw held on Tuesday January 13, another ticket sold by the shop won €1m. “Something like this never happened before, I still don’t believe it.” He added: “It is something incredible. I always thought that we could have a big win anytime, but never thought to have two millionaires wins in a row.”

Again it appears that the SuperEnalotto winner may be a local resident and the ticket was sold on Tuesday morning. The winning numbers in Tuesday’s draw were: 09-10-36-67-76-83 and the Jolly Number: 72.

Gerace added: “For us this is more than a record, we have had more customers since the win on Saturday, and many more will surely come now after this incredible news! We are proud to be part of this historic event in the SuperEnalotto life.”

The win is the latest in million euro SuperEnalotto wins in the south of Italy. At the end of December a player from Naples also won €1m.

At the end of December there was another millionaire windfall on the SuperEnalotto in Naples, which is in the south of Italy too.
