A couple from Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire, England are celebrating after winning £209,614.40 in the EuroMillions draw held on Tuesday March 17. Malcolm Taylor, 67 and his partner Mary Connor, 65, continue the area’s reputation for providing big lottery winners.The lucky couple managed to match the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars in the EuroMillions draw. The winning numbers were: 11-23-26-38-44 and the two Lucky Stars 01 and 08.In the past, North East Lincolnshire has been nicknamed 'Winsby' after there were three multi-milllion lottery wins in 1998. Back in January we told you about a couple from Grimsby who won £4.8m playing EuroMillions.The former blind manufacturer Malcolm said he couldn't believe his eyes when checking his numbers online on the night of the EuroMillions lottery draw. The couple have won some small amounts in the past, but admit they were both like little children waiting for Christmas that night and hardly got any sleep.Mary admits that because her partner seemed to be so calm at first, she didn't initially believe they had won a EuroMillions windfall. "I kept saying 'I can't believe we've won, things like this don't happen to people like us.'"The couple want to use their EuroMillions winnings on a series of holidays. They already have a Toronto break lined up where they are due to attend a wedding. Now they have won on EuroMillions they also want to visit Las Vegas, Arizona and Niagara Falls. Michael is most looking forward to taking a road trip across Death Valley in California in a classic Ford Mustang Convertible.The EuroMillions winning couple will also treat their six children and 15 grandchildren. They actually kept their EuroMillions lottery win a secret from them for over a week before holding a lunch to break their news.Malcolm explained: “We wanted to surprise all of the children once we knew the money was safely in the bank and give them each a share of our winnings.
