£1M WINNING EUROMILLIONS TICKET DUE TO EXPIRE THIS WEEK

The National Lottery have made an appeal for the holder a £1m EuroMillions winning ticket sold in Reading in Berkshire, England to come forward and claim their prize. If not claimed before midnight on Wednesday October 21, the ticket will expire.

The unclaimed ticket won £1m in the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw held on April 24. The ticket didn’t match the winning numbers in that draw but did win £1m by matching the UK Millionaire Maker Code TTR092858.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.”

So it’s time for one last look for the missing EuroMillions ticket or risk losing out on winning a life-changing amount. That’s what happened earlier this year to a £1m EuroMillions winning ticket sold in Liverpool that expired without being claimed. A Californian player lost his Powerball ticket and the $1m it had won.

If the £1m prize goes unclaimed then the money, plus the interest generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

It’s not uncommon for lottery winners to take a long time to claim their prize. Linda Tuttle from Michigan, USA had a $1m winning Mega Millions ticket hidden under a pile of old mail for months. Anthony Perosi from New York took six weeks to check his $136m winning Powerball ticket. Dale Sumney from North Carolina, USA drove around for four days with a $10m winning Ultimate Millions Scratchcard.

There are also five unclaimed £1m prizes from the October 10 UK Lotto draw that created 25 millionaires. The tickets all matched winning codes which were BLUE 2873 7030, GREY 1239 0029, LIME 4363 5202, RUBY 1896 8032 and RUBY 4778 2862.

A National Lottery spokesman commented: “It’s fantastic so many winners have come forward and are starting to enjoy their win. We’ve still got missing Lotto millionaires though, so we urge all players to check their tickets to see if they too have won an amazing, life-changing prize.”

If you purchase your lottery tickets online at Lottery24.com you will be informed in writing of all your winnings.
