SEARCH IS ON FOR HOLDER OF UNCLAIMED £67,440 WINNING EUROMILLIONS TICKET

A £67,440.20 winning EuroMillions prize from the April 22, 2016 draw has yet to be claimed. The ticket was sold in the council areas of Corby and Kettering in Northamptonshire, England.National Lottery players in the area are now being urged to check and double-check their EuroMillions tickets in case they are the lucky winner(s). The lucky ticket managed to match the five main numbers in the April 22 draw, those drawn out were: 17-26-32-34-43 and the Lucky Stars 02 and 10. Anyone who regularly uses low numbers won't be in luck then. Whoever does have the winning ticket has until October 19, 2016 to claim their EuroMillions winnings. James Wilson from Gloucestershire in England waited until the day before his £51,232.90 winning EuroMillions ticket was due to expire to claim his winnings.A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We're eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life. Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."If EuroMillions winners need their memories jogging, the draw took place a day after local football side Kettering Town had a big 7-0 win over Bideford. Not bad considering it was 0-0 at half time. A day after the draw Corby lost 3-0 at home to Stalybridge Celtic.Sadly tickets can expire without being claimed. Last year a £70,482 winning UK Lotto ticket sold in Glasgow, Scotland, wasn't claimed. In Liverpool, England, a £1m winning EuroMillions ticket also expired after failing to be claimed. Another player in Liverpool nearly lost out on their £30,000 UK Lotto competition prize after struggling to find his winning ticket.Appeals can work though, a £1.8m UK Lotto jackpot winner from Caerphilly in Wales came forward soon after an appeal was made to find the lucky winner.Play online at Lottery24.com, and we will inform in writing of your winnings.
