Six-time Australian Lotto winner reveals secret behind his success

A six-time winner of the Australian Tatts Lotto has revealed to lottery officials the secret behind his success – and it’s simpler than you might think!

The lottery winner, who is in his 50s but didn’t reveal any more information about his identity when he claimed his prize, won a share of over $658,000 on the Australian Lotto last Saturday. “The secret is in syndicates,” the lottery player said, as he collected his prize together with 11 other members of a West Australian syndicate. A Colorado woman recently had lottery success after quitting her job.

“Not only do I increase my chances of winning, but the cost is shared among 12 of us so it’s a relatively cheap way to play,” the six-time Australian Lotto winner explained. Since he began playing in syndicates, the Western Australian believes that he’d won almost half a million Australian dollars in prize money. A syndicate from Perth recently shared a $4.2 million Australian Lotto prize.

Lottery playing history was made for the lucky man on Saturday, November 11th, when his syndicate’s ticket was one of six purchased that matched the numbers 30, 19, 43, 18, 27 and 38, with supplementary numbers 21 and 16. Each of the six Australian Lotto tickets shared in the prize fund of almost $4 million, making them each worth $658,047.71. A woman from Waikiki in Western Australia recently won $1 million on the Saturday Australian Lotto but carried on working.

The big-time winner, from Maddington in West Australia, has purchased a lot of his Australian Lotto winning tickets from the same store, Hutton Street Lottery Centre and News agency, in fact the owner is convinced that five out of his six winning division one tickets were sold at her store. “There must be something in the water so drink up and make sure you grab a ticket in tonight’s $40 million Oz Lotto jackpot,” Sushie Govender, the store owner encouraged.

Multiple lottery wins aren’t as uncommon as you might think, as a player from Cork in Ireland recently won his third big lottery top prize, while a pub in Lincolnshire, England, had three big EuroMillions winners amongst its regulars.
