Wednesday proved to be a fantastic night for lottery players, particularly in Europe. There were five big jackpot wins topped by a €8.813m Lotto 6 aus 49 win.
The Bonoloto jackpot has been having lots of regular winners in recent weeks and in January there were four Bonoloto jackpots won in successive days, but it’s now gone eight draws without a top prize win. Monday saw a second-tier win with two tickets both receiving €100,225.23. Thursday’s draw has a jackpot of €2.9m.
On Tuesday, the EuroMillions jackpot was £86.173m but will be £94m on Friday after another rollover. Tickets were unable to match 11-15-21-27-35 and the two Lucky Stars 04 and 05. There were five winners of the runners-up prize with three tickets sold in Belgium and one in France winning €211,446.10 and a UK ticket winning £132,820.10.
The SuperEnalotto jackpot on Tuesday was up to €92m but the draw ended in a rollover. The elusive numbers were 22-39-47-49-77-89 and the Jolly 80. On Thursday the top prize is €93m. This time last year, a ticket sold in Mestrino won a €93.72m SuperEnalotto jackpot.
The jackpot in Tuesday’s Mega Millions draw was $89m but tickets found it impossible to match 29-41-42-49-57 and the Mega Ball 24. A ticket sold in Minnesota won the runners-up prize of $1m. On Friday, the top prize will be $104m with players hoping to win big, just like Shane Missler from Florida, USA, who won a $450m Mega Millions jackpot.
The fantastic Wednesday for lottery players began with the €8,813,839.80 Lotto 6 aus 49 jackpot being won by a single ticket. It matched 03-06-08-26-29-38 and the Bonus 08, which means on Saturday the top prize returns to €1m.
Another lottery millionaire was created in the Spiel 77 draw. By matching 0-0-8-4-0-9-3, one ticket won €1,677,777. The success followed with two tickets winning the Lotto 6 aus 45 jackpot, both winning €887,519.40. They both successfully matched 03-15-23-26-38-40 to win the top prize. The Joker draw saw a single ticket win €400,895.30 after matching 3-4-7-7-1-3.
Wednesday’s Thunderball draw also produced a jackpot winner. One ticket matched 13-18-23-37-38 and the Thunderball 04 to win £500,000. Stuart Andrew Sussex from England also won a £500,000 Thunderball jackpot.
The UK Lotto top prize on Wednesday was £6.85m but ended in a rollover. Tickets failed to match 05-19-21-42-44-57 and the Bonus Ball 18, so on Saturday there will be a top prize of £9.7m.
The Powerball top prize on Wednesday was $128m but didn’t produce a jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 04-07-14-46-59 and the Powerball 22. There were three second-tier winners with tickets sold in California, Minnesota and Florida. Recently a syndicate from Minnesota won a $250,000 Powerball windfall. On Saturday, the top prize rises to $145m.
