A group of five men from Ottawa, Canada, who have been playing the lottery for over ten years didn’t have an unlucky Friday the 13th. In fact, it was the exact opposite as they landed the $60m Lotto Max jackpot in that evenings draw.Bryan Redman, Christopher Beazley, Gilles Dionne, Norman MacDonald and Stephane Dionne will share the $60m Lotto Max jackpot, each receiving $12m. He double-checked the results and when the Lotto Max win was confirmed, he recalled how “I got back in my car, locked the door and started dialling numbers, crying and shaking – but no one was answering their phones!" he laughed.Eventually he contacted Giles who was half asleep at the time and all he could hear was Bryan shouting “We did it!
