ALBERTA WOMAN WINS $2 MILLION ON CANADIAN LOTTO 649

An Edmonton resident says that she didn’t know what to do with herself when she found out that she’d won $2 million on the Western Canadian version of the Lotto 649 game.Muoi Thap Du has been playing Lotto 649 religiously twice a week for years, using the same numbers that she picked out at random. This week, her loyalty to the lottery game finally paid off when she won a $2 million top prize, not long after another Alberta 649 player became a millionaire thanks to the lottery game.Ms Du purchased her winning ticket at a Petro Canada on 118 Avenue in Edmonton, with winning Western 649 numbers 3, 9, 18, 19, 25 and 27, but she said that the moment she realised she had won was unbelievable. “I couldn’t believe it!” she told Lotto 649 officials in Edmonton, who recently paid out $50 million to a Lotto Max winner in Edmonton, “I just started running around the house hugging everyone.”The Lotto 649 winner said that she was so excited about her big $2 million win that she barely knew what to do with herself, saying “I was so happy,” when she found out, a stark contrast to Gerald Fritsma’s reaction to his $17 million 649 win this summer. “I have played the same numbers for the last few years,” she told lottery officials when they asked her what made her play the lottery in the first place. “I just chose random numbers, and I’ve played them on every draw,” she said.Ms Du plans to spend her Lotto 649 winnings on her mortgage, and she hopes to be able to pay it all off as well as some bills, before spending the rest of it setting up an education fund for her children. While the $2 million prize is certainly enough to change Ms Du’s life, it’s not quite on the same level as the Scott’s from Fort Kent, who recently won $50 million on the Lotto Max.Last month, there was another Edmonton Lotto winner who took home $100,000 after winning a top prize on an EXTRA ticket. Randy Moen, who is from Sherwood Park, bought his EXTRA lottery ticket at a Co-op Gas Bar in Emerald Hills on September 19th. He told Alberta lottery officials that he has no definitely plans for his money, but some of it will go towards paying off some bills and saving for his retirement.Get a chance of becoming the next big winner by playing online with us at Lottery24.com.
