Ontario couple get a ‘do-over’ after winning $100,000 on Lotto Max

ONTARIO COUPLE GET A ‘DO-OVER’ AFTER WINNING $100,000 ON LOTTO MAX

A couple from Cargill in Ontario, Canada, have won a $100,000 prize on the Lotto Max Encore and said the money will help them to live a stress-free life.Lindsay and Georges Theodule won their $100,000 on the Lotto Max on July 15th this year, and they matched six out of the seven winning numbers in order to take the prize home. Just yesterday we told you about an Ontario lottery winner who collected her $50,000 just as her car broke down, and Mrs Theodule said that the regular lottery players have a system for buying tickets, where she usually purchases the tickets and her husband checks them, but when they bought the tickets in mid-July their system had changed.Instead, while Mrs Theodule bought the ticket as usual, she was picking up some snacks from their local store and realised she still had the ticket in her wallet, so she decided to check it on the lottery ticket scanner while she was there. “I quickly stopped by the ticket checker, figuring it probably wasn’t a winner. Instead, I saw, ‘Big Winner - $100,000’ flash on the screen,” Mrs Theodule told Ontario Lottery and Gaming officials as she collected her prize in Toronto, the same city where Zvonko Vukovic went to collect his $100,000 Lotto Max prize. She signed the Lotto Max ticket quickly, and then asked the clerk at the store to validate it. “When the retailer validated the ticket, the terminal froze. That’s when I knew I won something,” she said with a grin. The story continues at Mrs Theodule drove home to tell her husband Georges, and drove up the driveway blaring her horn to get his attention.“Georges came out to see what was wrong but nothing was wrong. Everything was exactly right!” Just like a North Carolina $1 million lottery winner, the couple said that the $100,000 will help them to have a ‘do-over’ in their lives, after being married young with very little, they now have four children together. “We want to spend our money and time with them,” Mr Theodule said. His wife has also just started her own business, and so winning the Lotto Max money is going to help her to get that of the ground.“A new opportunity to live our lives stress free,” the couple told the OLG, just like a bus driver from Crewe who said his £6 million UK Lotto jackpot would allow him to start afresh. The next lucky winner could be you, so play online now at Lottery24.com.
