$1M MAXMILLION WINNER ON HIS WAY TO DISNEYLAND

A gasfitter from Surrey in British Columbia, Canada, can’t wait to go to Disneyland after winning a $1m Maxmillion prize in the June 1 Lotto Max draw.Jeremy Scramstad purchased his winning Lotto Max ticket from the Strawberry Hill Town Pantry. He then just folded it up, put it in his pocket and promptly forgot about it. Only when he was having a cup of coffee on his lunch break did he remember his Lotto Max ticket and decided to find out If it had won anything. The June 1 Lotto Max draw had a record amount of prize money and some of it headed in Jeremy’s direction.“When it said a million dollars, I went back to my van to double and triple check the numbers on the Lotto! App,” said the surprised Lotto Max winner. He didn’t tell his wife the fantastic news until she’d finished work. When he did tell her, the couple began “screaming with excitement.” It’s the latest big win in British Columbia after Robert Scott won $500,000 playing the Lotto 6/49 lottery.The Lotto Max winner and his family have only recently moved from Clayton Heights to the Okanagan. He believes his $1m win will make life less stressful and allow him to spend more time with his family. There are already plans to take the family on a trip to Disneyland. They’ll probably fly first class like the recent €8.5m Irish Lotto winning syndicate plan on doing. Jeremy also fancies a “house or a boat on the lake.”  The same draw also produced a $100,000 Lotto Max win for Jefremar and Lucille Estoque from Alberta, Canada.Another Canadian celebrating a big Lotto Max win is Larry Leadbeater from Winnipeg. He won $1m in the Maxmillions part of the June 8 draw after buying a ticket from a gas station.
